Collagen From the Inside Out
Smooth threads are fine, dissolvable PDO threads placed just beneath the surface of the skin. Unlike barbed lifting threads, smooth threads are not designed to pull tissue upward. Their job is to sit in the skin and trigger a controlled healing response that lays down new collagen along the length of each thread.
The threads themselves dissolve over four to six months. The collagen they generate stays behind, and that is where the lasting improvement in texture and firmness comes from.

Where Smooth Threads Work Best
These are a great option for crepey texture and fine lines in areas where filler is simply not the right tool. Think the lines above the lip, fine crinkling around the eyes, the neck, and the backs of the hands.
Treatment takes around thirty to forty five minutes including numbing. You may have some tenderness, small bruises, or slight puckering for a few days. Collagen builds over the following two to three months, so the best version of your results shows up well after you leave our Chino office.
